A. I left the mic "ON" while 2 girls where in the DJ booth - the whole club heard how rediculous my game was.

This week DJs Derrick D and Vin Sol welcome special guest DJ ZITA to the SUPERFRIENDS family. DJ ZITA (real name : Maritez) spins a variety of musical styles ranging from concious/underground/old school hip hop... to original breaks and beats... to 70s, 80s, 90s classic joints etc. ZITA has become known for her innovative style, smooth mixing, creatively-crafted versatile sets, and rockin' the dancefloor.

Q. Where were you born?
A. Born in Orange, NJ and bred in Los Angeles, CA.

Q. How long have you been DJing?
A. I bought my first turntables back in 2000 and my first gig was at a house party in Hawaii in 2002.

Q. Whats your favorite song and/or artist?
A. My all-time favorite artists are Stevie Wonder, Sade, and A Tribe Called Quest

Q. What's your favorite thing to do when not DJing?
A. Dancing

This Thursday May 4th Milk/SuperFriends proudly presents CERTIFIED BANANAS. DJs Certified Max (The AudioVandal) and Sammy Bananas (P. Nice) are going to turn the party out, believe it... but before all that get to know a little more about Rhode Island's finest

Q. Where were you born? and where are you currently living?
A. Certified Max : Born Albany, NY, living in Providence, R.I.
A. Sammy Bananas : Born Cambridge, MA, living in Providence, R.I.

Q. How did "C.B." start? What inspired the name?
A. Certified Bananas just started because the two of us were sharing an apartment and were both DJs. We started making a mix together because we needed a new creative outlet and it just went from there. The name came from seeing the Velvet Underground & Nico album in a jukebox at the decatur Lounge.

Q. when was your first gig as "C.B."?
A. Spinning with P's band, Miss Fairchild, at the Enormous Room in Cambridge. MF blew out the fuse for the speakers with thier booty bass song and we had to play our entire set through a monitor. It was awesome.

Q. What is your favorite movie and or movie quote?
A. Certified Max : "A gun rack? A gun rack? Shyeah right. I don't even own a gun, let alone many guns that would necessitate an entire rack. What am I gonna do with a gun rack?" (Waynes World)

A. Certified Max : I just thought it was funny when someone offered me $20 to play 50 Cent. I might have played it, but after all that I really didn't want to. I said Id only do it for $50.

A. Serato crashing
